Hello, all!
I know I haven't spoken about anything for a while. Last week I was able to view an amazing experience. Any passionate artist should be able to relate and become inspired by this great feat. "Michael Jackson's THIS IS IT" is prolific and heartfelt from the depths of region. I truly believe God allows us to obtain a 'sound mind' so that we can receive positive, objective jewels from everything that we witness while on earth. "Judge not, that ye be not judged" and "love covers" can describe my opinion of the film, in that there is so much that can be learned from it.
Think about it! Do you remember when you were 4 years old, the things you did during your growth period? You probably grasped basic abilities, such as learning to read, count, write your name, followed by playtime of sliding on the sliding board, swinging, sandbox, building block creativity, Etch-A-Sketch, etc. Quite a few were able to have a strong love for drawing, painting on an easel, playing an instrument, and listening to Beethoven, understanding a music piece as if it was "Mary Had A Little Lamb."
Well, MJ had been gifted so that he became a true virtuoso of the century. The movie depicts how seriously he took his God-given talents, wanting to always give the world the best of everything he had of himself, at a heavy price. Professionalism, zeal, and fervor glowed throughout his conceptualizing, directing, consulting, performing. He was permeated with selfless attitude toward perfection and sharp precision.
The thought that came to mind was how we should take what we do, when we do it, seriously, remembering that it may affect someone else. Depending on what we do, it could be taken either positively or damaging. In retrospect, we should continue to do this - be quick to hear, slow to speak! We can learn so much from others, if we allow ourselves to be open, recognizing who made them, not how they look to the naked eye.
Michael Jackson was a consummate performer, who consistently moved with his gut feelings, always concerned about telling and showing love to all he came in contact with, share his wisdom from life-lessons, and treated everyone - young and old - with the utmost respect, the way he wanted to be treated. Isn't that what we should always be in our own lives?
I literally laughed, smiled, cried and felt sad while watching this epic, because of obvious reasons. He was young, had a gigantic heart for people and the planet. Peculiar, yes, and misunderstood, but who do YOU know that has been touched with so much amazement, and they appear normal? I continue to learn from watching him that to whom much is given, much is required. It takes a made up mind, perseverance, dedication, passion, and hard work, how we can achieve greatness, not to mention with Christ we can do ALL things!
If you haven't seen the movie, please allow yourself to witness and bask in what eminence looks like. And it's okay if people think strangely of you. Just know that you were created by perfection, and whatever you do in life, make sure love covers, understanding provides shade, and compassion interacts like a coat. Be blessed, everyone!
