"I am so grateful that I have Christ in my life,
What would my life be without Him, it would be very dark and dreary;
When I'm sad He cheers me, and when I am so lonely, HE will my comfort be!
That's why I'm grateful, I'm so grateful, truly grateful that Christ is in my life!"
An old song with a reminder that we are never alone, and able to make it through every poignant part of our lives, whether being rich or poor, having good health or illness, married or single-minded.
With being set aside to celebrate the role of mothers, so many things should come to mind. Realizing that this day is a commemorative, special one, every year, it should make one think of the meaning.
Being
a mother myself, it means so much to be able to look at your now-adult
children, and be so overwhelmed with beaming joy.
Motherhood, to me, is a anointed calling. From conception to delivery of birth, to actually watching a child reveal how well they can learn by recognizing your face, your touch, your voice, during the coddling phase. They intake the right food consumption, building up their taste buds and nourishment. The steady flow of them showing how quickly their ability to be ad-versed in different things, proves to be stellar. Teaching them to pray for everyone, and everything, becomes common-place in their lives. And don't forget to discuss what the Lord says in His Word.
Immediately, you find out how imperative it is for Mother to stay in provision mode, continually planting seeds, through teaching, instilling in
them, and correcting them, with maternal love.
Reaching out for whatever is in front of them, then taking that first step, that child persists to move forward.
As we are blessed to see what type of
tree they grow to be, knowing that the Lord has made, and continues to make, everything remains possible in
their lives, because of the in-depth cultivation of their parent, along with how we walk before them.
What they also learn at an early age, is how to be content with whatever state they are in, especially during their formative years, when they may not understand others, or their behaviors. Hebrews 13:5 tells us:
Keep your lives free from the love of money, and BE CONTENT with what you have, because The Father has said, "NEVER will I leave you; never will I forsake you!"
Watching
them become responsible individuals, while they begin to discern, and are willing to show compassion or respect to everyone
they meet, one can only be thankful to The Father for providing such
knowledge and understanding, at the right time!
Helping them to realize their full potential, with sincere determination, and having a listening ear, as they state what they desire to become, and encouraging them, as their dreams are envisioned. As they walk across the stage to accept their diploma, and later their college degree, the proud moments repeatedly stand true, that there is absolutely nothing too hard for the Lord, as long as they continue to follow His instructions, and ways.
MOTHERHOOD -
It's so extremely wonderful to rightly prepare our children for life, and in return, see the brilliant light each one possesses, to the Glory of Our Lord. HALLELUIAH!!!
Blessings and peace to all!
