WELCOME TO JONES BLOG!

WORDS that are spoken, should provide 2 options - LIFE or DEATH!

There is so much power in words, when used appropriately. A depressed soul can be uplifted by a smooth tone of phrases, when all else fails. A crying child will become silent once an expression of adoration is spoken directly. Even when placed with a distinctive tune, hearts are moved to a compassionate mode. It has been said that music 'soothes the savage beast.' In addition, when you smile, or even laugh, the very innate qualities are rejuvenated, and extends to others, uplifting them to pursue life in its truest form.

I will be discussing many topics that appear to be imperative for today's way of thinking. With eloquent words, feelings of joy, love, peace, and contentment can be transferred. It is imperative to make sure we speak with what will cause one to walk away with an amazing outlook of assurance, knowing that things CAN, AND WILL work out!

What A Blessing This Is! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

“I tell you the TRUTH; you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy!” (John 16:20-22)

“This is the day the Father has made; I WILL REJOICE, AND BE GLAD in it!” Today is historical, in that, after becoming a marital union, my mom and dad were given the opportunity to experience parenthood with their first-born child.

It was on Resurrection morning, when Mom gave birth to an 8lb. 12 oz. chocolate-brown baby girl. Dad, while in the hospital room with Granny, his mother-in-law, argued on what the name for the little girl would be. He preferred Leah, while Granny fancied another option. Mom, becoming frustrated with the ceaseless altercation, but always wanting her mother to feel a sense of pride of her glowing accomplishment, relented, letting her imagemother win, with the final choice, LEAZER S. (not sharing my middle, because it’s quite corny - lol)! Oddly enough, the biblically-derived name denotes “peace, helper of the Father.”

Always considered a “little lady,” or Miss Leazer, apparently during existence in the womb, grew to have an adamant love for various forms of music, whether gospel, jazz, classical, or Latin. At the age of 5 months, she declared it was a major necessity, in order to function or go to sleep, needing to hear it frequently. Mom and Dad were conscious that their child was called to become the one the Father created her to be, even if there were many instances where the devil tried, unsuccessfully, to slay her before even becoming a little lady, from early age.image

Now, after having lived throughout marriage, divorce, still-birth, as well as being fortunate enough to raise three of the best lovingly, beautiful and wise children, I give the Father all praises for keeping me. Realizing many mistakes have been made, somewhat-irreparable damage at times have been caused; however, when I look back, mercy, grace and compassion have been shown to me, regardless to all the errors made. The Father’s Word carries lasting power, and when He said, according to Jeremiah 11:29, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!

If I’m asked to make mention what I’d like my wish to be today, it would be for everyone to be aware that spring is finally in the air, the Father’s glory continues to cover us, and take note that we are all truly blessed beyond measure.

No matter what may be occurring, on your job, in your home, neighborhood, family members, those so-called enemies, even individuals you don’t understand clearly, we should always be mindful of our achievements, and amazing contentment we’ve received as we gaze around us.

It’s an absolutely beautiful day, isn’t it? We praise our Heavenly Father for His glorious gifts, today, and always! Enjoy, everyone, and PLEASE remain THANKFUL!
